Capabilities

POD/Signature

Using the products "SIGN" (RM48 Signed) or "TRPL" (RM24 Signed), the shipment will be delivered with a signature for receipt.

Failed delivery

In case of a failed delivery attempt the parcel will be delivered at the SafePlace or neighbour. In case SafePlace or neighbours fails a 2nd delivery attempt will take place the next working day. If SafePlace or neighbours fails again, the recipient gets the option to arrange a 3rd delivery attempt via App or website or have it sent to a pickup point. At third failed delivery attempt the parcel is forwarded to nearest pickup point. Storage time at the pickup point is 18 workdays.

Customs Clearance

The solution to UK is by default a Business to Consumer DDP service, as such all shipments are imported to private individuals and conducted under bulk processes (BIRDS). Fundamentally, this solution is a shipper billed DDP service (EU to UK) where duty and import VAT on high value shipments (>135 £) will always be billed back to the shipper post-import. Unless the shipper is setup (upon request) as the IOR with PVA applied.

Where a shipper wishes to have their registered entity as the importer, it must be requested and implemented prior to any parcels being shipped, else the above applies.

Dangerous Goods

DG or LQ are not necessarily allowed on this service. Please discuss this with your sales contact prior startup.
